PAWEŁ SZELĄG is the Head of JKM KARNE (JKM CRIMINAL LAW)
Paweł Szeląg is a highly experienced Legal Counsel and a leading Criminal Law Specialist. He focuses his practice on criminal defense and advisory services for both business clients (corporate) and private individuals.
He offers comprehensive legal support at every stage of the criminal proceedings – from prevention and advisory before the initiation of enforcement actions by law enforcement agencies, up to full representation in court. He acts as a defense lawyer or authorized representative, diligently protecting the interests of clients of the JKM i Partnerzy Law Firm.
He possesses substantial experience in serving commercial companies and in debt collection law, which grants him a broad and interdisciplinary perspective on issues of criminal liability. His continuous cooperation with other Departments at JKM i Partnerzy (handling family, banking, tax, and administrative matters) enables him to effectively combine knowledge from various legal fields when defending clients’ interests, particularly in the context of economic crimes and fiscal offenses (tax crimes).

He takes on the responsibility of handling the most complex criminal cases. He represents victims, witnesses, suspects, the accused (defendants), arrested persons, and convicted individuals.
Paweł Szeląg also conducts criminal law training for business, aimed at professionals, managers, directors, and board members.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia. He is registered as a Legal Counsel with the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Katowice.
